Walkabouts - Summer 2021 - South Shields Digital Group

Thanks to all who responded to our request for summer trip venues. Here’s the shortlist:

Cambois, Durham, the Hoppings, Mount Pleasant lake and Victoria Viaduct, Newcastle City Centre, Seaham and Rising Sun Country Park. Also, I’ll probably host a couple of beginners studio nights at South Tyneside Camera Club or intros to filters/lightpainting/sport/Premiere Pro etc. depending on my commitments.

We kicked things off at Mount Pleasant on the 9 June, 7pm. It was good to catch up with old friends on our first Digi trip out to Mount Pleasant.

Our second ‘walkabout’ will be Wednesday 23 June to Souter lighthouse and the Wherry (for sunset). The tide is low – but we’re going on! Hopefully poppies and a gorgeous sunset, but would settle for it just not raining! See you all there 7pm.
