Exhibition Now On

Beginning Saturday 26th November at South Shields Museum & Art Gallery at 11am for 5 months.

An Exhibition called ‘Looking into the Light’ by South Shields Photographic Society, South Shields Digital Group & South Tyneside Camera Club is now running at South Shields Museum and Art Gallery. Images are from 2019 until 2022, many of which were taken during the Covid-19 period that caused a great deal of problems for us all. A slideshow that will also run shows images from before and during the pandemic.

Members of the camera clubs will be on hand at various times to promote those clubs and show what they are now doing photography-wise. Leaflets will be available with information of the clubs for visitors.
